As the country was sweating under 90 plus degree temperatures, the Athletes of Triathlon Training with Amy once again took themselves to the starting line of races in three different states.  At the USAT National championships Jillian Schneider demonstrated her athletic talents.  Placing 4th. in the 30-34 age group and securing herself a spot for the team USA in the 2017  ITU World championships.

In Sharon Mass., at the Sharon Sprint Triathlon, Leslie Battle dominated the Athena division In a time of 1:31:32.  The Lafreniere ladies, Joy and Sophia also took podium spots.  Joy continued to be a force in the Aquabike finishing 3rd overall and second women in a tie of 55:26.  Sophia placed 2nd in the 19 and under in a time of 1:46:54.

In Rhode Island at the Wild Dog Triathlon Toby Bennett placed 4th overall and 11st. in the 40-44 age group in a time of 58:28.  Carol  McCononaghy was 1st. in the 50 -54 age group in a time 1:20:30.
